Why built-in dictation is not enough
Google Docs voice typing only works inside its own tab, and Word dictation never leaves the Word window. Switch to email or a chat and you are back to typing by hand. On top of that, built-in engines forget your corrections, so you fix the same name every single day. blablaType removes both limits: dictate anywhere and every correction sticks.

How to start dictating in Word and Docs
- Download blablaType for Windows and sign in: the free plan starts right away, no card needed. On first run you pick your dictation key.
- Open your document in Word or Google Docs and click where the text should go.
- Hold the dictation key you chose and talk. Release it and the punctuated text is already at your cursor.
- Correct a word by voice or by hand once: the app remembers it from then on.

Yes. blablaType types into whatever window is active, so Google Docs can be open in any browser on Windows. The built-in Docs voice typing is tied to its own tab and does not work everywhere.
The blablaType desktop app is available for Windows today, and a macOS version is in development. On Windows it dictates into Word, Google Docs and any other editor.
The free plan costs nothing, needs no card and never expires: 60 minutes of dictation a month. Pro is $8.99 a month and removes the minute limit, adding the corrections dictionary, translation as you speak and speech cleanup. Max is $12.99 a month and adds voice commands over selected text on top of everything in Pro. Paying yearly is 20% cheaper, and all prices include tax.
